Artist Statement

I have a passion for ceramics, and it allows me a personal outlet as I let the creativity flow in my studio.
I create handmade, functional and sculptural ceramics using wheel throwing and hand building techniques prior to the kiln working its magic.
I create pieces from a collection of experiences from everyday life and am inspired by nature through my love of the outdoor environment – after harvesting from the garden, I’ll make a fabulous plate to eat the produce from!
