Artist Statement

Sue creates watercolour paintings inspired by the Peak District. She loves Autumn and her designs often reflect the season featuring striking trees, other foliage and British wildlife, often deer, in silhouette against colourful skies. Sue has a fascination with trees and the Japanese practice of forest bathing and a sense of calmness and wellbeing often comes across in her work. Many of Sue's designs are also available as greetings cards and printed on homeware as well as limited edition prints.
