Artist Statement

I continue to explore all forms of decoration ranging from textiles, mixed media, printing, always striving to create fresh work in traditional and contemporary styles. I feel inspired by colourful landscapes and nature including my own colourful country garden. My initial ideas are worked in my sketchbook of which I have many. I find this a good way to jog the memory and helps to maybe develop my designs at a later date.
