Artist Statement

I am a young artist, who is currently studying fine art at Sheffield Hallam University. In my personal studies I like to mainly do oil paintings, but I do also like to use watercolour and lino print usually within mix media. I enjoy doing animals, but when oil painting I prefer to do objects and material. Further I have been recently looking at pottery, like Hornsea pottery, interesting kettles and kitchen items, and French objects. I have then been doing some oil paintings of these to show how beautiful a simple object can be.
