Artist Statement

Since retiring, music and art have become a way of life. After more than 50 years of songwriting and recording I have amassed a huge library of recordings, and taken up painting. I use these recordings and paintings to help raise funds for a small UK based charity Oasis Relief Zambia Reg No. 1181996. In October 2022 I founded a project to raise awareness and funds for the charity; which funds sinking boreholes and supporting 2 schools and 2 clinics in Zambia. To date we have sunk 115 boreholes. All sales of Artwork and CDs, as described on our website, go to the charity. We take no administration fees, all expenses are funded by ourselves personally. I work in Traditional Mixed Media and Digital Artwork, and can provide prints and cards, as well as original artwork. The paintings enhance my music and vice versa.
