Artist Statement

Ruth Matthews (formerly Gray) is a town and landscape artist whose subjects reflect Derbyshire. She works to commission, conducts workshops, and demonstrates her art to groups throughout the region. Ruth uses matt acrylic paint and inks on canvas board, her work can be purchased from her studio or via shows throughout the year. A proud member of Peak District Artisans.
