Artist Statement

I paint, draw and sculpt, sometimes all three together.

I hand build my ceramic sculptures adding words, texture, glazing, oxides, ceramic colour and organic materials.

My paintings incorporate some fired ceramic element and I draw on my sculptures.

My work is inspired by what I see, my feelings, my beliefs, words and my emotions expressed into the materials and the desire to be sustainable.
