Artist Statement

Janice Robinson, Absolute Art

I’m a local artist living in Long Eaton, I have always enjoyed being creative. I
welcome commissions, I find that different mediums offer a wider variety of visual
creativity. I find inspiration from all around me, whatever makes me smile will make
me paint. Painting is my happy place, such a therapeutic activity. I also offer
workshops in Encaustic wax, which is an amazing therapeutic way of working with
coloured wax. Even those who say they can’t draw, or paint will be amazed at what
they can achieve.
Variety is the spice of life (so they say)
So, I keep my work varied to keep boredom at bay
With wonderful colours I like to play
And create what I can in different ways
From murals, acrylic, watercolour and more
