Mathew creates handcrafted pieces that marry a contemporary aesthetic with the timeless heritage skill of woodturning. Harnessing the natural beauty of wood and blending it with unconventional materials, he unlocks the magic inherent in his medium. As a self-taught woodturner, Mathew enjoys the creative freedom to design and craft extraordinary, one-of-a-kind items, limited only by his imagination. His inspiration comes from conversations, simple images, and the world around him. He takes great pride in collaborating with patrons on bespoke commission works, bringing their visions to life with his distinctive artistry.
