Artist Statement

I design and create 3D sculpture from wool using needle felt techniques. I buy fleece from local farmers and always try to work in a sustainable way, recycling and repurposing whenever possible and avoiding plastic. Craft should not cost the Earth! My work varies from small commissioned sculpture to larger work suitable as statement pieces. Each is unique and made with love.
Alongside this I have designed and made a collection of beginners needle felt kits which come with both paper and a youtube tutorial. These contain no plastic, made from recycled products and they are simple to use and feedback is very positive.. I currently use facebook Never Needlefelt Better, and my work can be found at The Yard Gallery in Leah's Yard, Sheffield.
