Artist Statement

Unique handmade textile products designed from Sadia's garden studio in Derbyshire. The handcrafted makes, from thoughtfully curated fabrics, employ loving attention to detail and emphasise practicality.

Sadia enjoys the creative process of finding a happy print and making a unique product, which hopefully will also bring joy to the recipient. She often loses track of time working in the studio, aka her happy place, surrounded by gorgeous fabrics. She designs all her patterns for the makes with aesthetics as well as practicality in mind.

As a small business owner and a maker, Sadia is really proud that her products are sustainable, ethical and eco-friendly. In a world of fast fashion and one-use items, she hopes to make things that are durable and sustainable.
