Artist Statement

Working in earthenware and stoneware my primary passion is the process of making. Submerging your hands in this primal material and shaping and structuring forms old and new is a completely absorbing experience, inducing an almost meditative state. It continues to surprise me that I can produce objects that actually function and are pleasing to look at and hold.
